Screen Resolution

CMS Version 10.10.10 requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768. For best experience, we recommend a resolution of 1152 x 864 or higher.
With the lower vertical resolution of 768, the ribbon buttons need to be set to hidden and only the menu bar can be visible.

If your screen cannot be set to the recommended vertical resolution of 864 or higher, only to 768, you can easily hide the ribbon buttons by clicking on the ^ button to the right of the ribbon.

If you are using an older monitor, you should verify that it supports the minimum screen resolution before updating to this version.

To determine and change your screen resolution, right click on your Desktop and choose Display Settings.
(For Windows 7, see instructions here)

Background: Prior to CMS version 10.10.10, CMS was compatible with the older monitors with a resolution of 800 x 600. With the advent of flat screens popularity and the larger resolutions, the main screen (Contact View) and other areas of CMS appeared way too small.

The higher screen resolution comes along window resizing in many cases, allowing you to view more information and utilize the screen area more efficiently.
