10.8.24 New | Access 2010 Compatibility / Requirement

The program takes advantage of the new menu system (Ribbons) that Microsoft Office 2007 introduced (see image below) and opens the door for many more user-interface improvements to come.

In the process of this upgrade, we were forced to discontinue support for older versions of Microsoft Access. We recommend Microsoft Office 2010 Professional (which includes Access). As of this writing, Microsoft Office 2010 Professional is available www.TechSoup.org for just $31. (We cannot offer assistance is using Tech Soup.)

If you don't have Microsoft Office 2010, you can still take advantage of the new updates by installing Microsoft Access Runtime 2010. Click here for detailed instructions.

* As of CMS Version 10.8.24. Not compatible with 64 bit versions of Office. You must ensure to install the 32 bit version of Office and/or Access Runtime even if you are using a 64 bit version of Windows.
