French number to text conversion has now been implemented.

Numbers to Text is used in Thank you letters, using the <WordAmount> field (Built-in letters) and <TextAmount> field (Word Merges), as well as in Printing checks using <tTextAmount>.

Click Program Setup > Options > Letters/Receipts tab > Word Amount field, and choose French from the Drop-down.

Office 2010 SP1 is an important update that Microsoft released that fixes bugs and adds improvements to MS Office in general. However, SP1 also introduces at least one bug that affects older versions of CMS. If you installed SP1 without installing the very latest version of CMS, you may notice that the following features in CMS are not working:

Send Invoice On the Transaction tab, when viewing Bills and clicking the Invoice button, all the invoices will come up for your entire database...

Displaying of Friends optimized.

The 2-5 seconds delay (depending on database size and network) has been eliminated and/or drastically reduced.

Improvement implemented in version 11.10.10

When applying a payment to a bill that has the Honor/Memory field entered, the payment will now automatically fill in that field with the same info that is in the Bill being paid.

Note: When applying the payment to multiple bills, care should be taken that the Honor/Memory field is automatically entered correctly. It may not pick up the information from the bill you're intending it to.

This improvement has been implemented in version 11.10.4.

Clicking the Envelope button at the top of the screen would not pull up the current contact's name and address.

This bug affected only those using the Built-in Envelope. A workaround would be to use Word for Envelopes. See http://support.chabadms.com/KB/a651/envelopes-via-word.aspx for details on how this is done.

This bug has been corrected in version 11.8.20.

Added Quarterly and Yearly options for recurring bills.

You enter a recurring bill by clicking the Bill Schedule button on the Transaction tab. You can now choose Monthly, Weekly, Quarterly or Yearly from the Frequency drop-down.

This has been implemented in version 11.9.28

You can now generate a contact report based on a individual transaction amount. Click Report > Contacts > Transaction tab and choose Individual.

Until now, you were only able to get contacts who contributed in Total. This gives you the ability to generate the report based on a single transaction in the amount range you specify.

Improvement implemented in version 11.7.20

Clicking an individual invoice does not work. All invoices come up.

Partial Workaround: Click Tasks > Invoices/Statements > Other tab, and limit the batch invoice to the contact you want. This has been fixed in version 11.7.20

The source for this bug has been confirmed to be a Microsoft Issue in SP1 for Office 2010. See Access 2010 SP1 – Reports that are opened programmatically are no longer showing the expected filtered set of records for technical details.

After generating a report (contact, transaction, etc.) or a batch of letters, the Form where the report or letters were generated from does not retain it's criteria. This occurs even when the "Remember Report Criteria from last use" option is checked.

Bug fixed in version 11.5.26

This module gives you the ability to restrict users from viewing some Transactions while allowing them to access other Transactions. For example: you may want to allow your preschool director full access to bills and payments related to the Preschool, but not to the donations.
