...Plus a very nice new feature added where you can "promote" an individual family member to a main contact record. This is useful for example when a child moves out of his parents' home and you don't want to manually enter all the info again, especially related information such as Adult Education Course enrollments, individual Family Member Programs, Family Flags, Occasions and much more.

We're excited to announce the BETA of the next version of the Chabad Management System: CMS Version 13.x. Over the last few months we've been rigorously testing this new version and have ironed out the issues that came to our attention.

Version 13.8.4 Improvement: Add Contacts window can now include a His and Her photo. In the past, you first needed to enter the contact and then go back and assign a photo.[image]

Online Donation Forms can now have Amount Options.

You can have either Radio Buttons or they can be in a drop-down list. Each amount option can optionally have a Description and Memo. For example: $180 Chai Supporter, $360 Builder. Memos can be used to describe each option in more detail.

In working on making CMS more intuitive and user friendly, and while at it, creating a bi-directional link to Google Contacts, a major change has been made to phone numbers and email addresses.

For the sake of brevity please take note of the following definitions: Contact Numbers: Phone and fax numbers and Email addresses. Primary Contacts: Husband or Wife on the main record, or the unmarried individual (him or her) on the main record.

After working with Microsoft's tech support for close to a week, they have located a "Hot Fix" for this issue. This Hot Fix is now the recommended approach to resolve this issue and supersedes the various workarounds that have been provided in the news items linked at the end of this notice. If you have previously disabled the Windows/Office updates, we recommend that you enable them so that you continue to get automatic updates from Microsoft.
